Ceremony hours: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, Thursday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The ceremony will be conducted by a professional guide on behalf of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation who will meet your family at the entrance to the Western Wall and accompany you throughout the event.

The ceremony lasts approximately 30 minutes and is specially designed for young children.

For security reasons, scissors may not be brought into the Western Wall area. Scissors will be provided by us as part of the ceremony package.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the child will receive a keepsake to cherish for a lifetime: an elegant commemorative certificate marking the occasion, featuring a transparent window containing the hair that was cut, as well as a small tzitzit garment embroidered with the words: “My Upsherin was celebrated at the Western Wall.”

Advance registration is required at least one week in advance.
